New Horizons at Marlborough Wins 2018 Best Of Assisted Living Award From SeniorAdvisor.com

Marlborough, MA, January 16, 2018 – New Horizons at Marlborough ranks in the top one percent of senior care providers across the United States and Canada. That’s according to SeniorAdvisor.com. The site, North America’s largest senior care ratings and review service, recently honored the independent and assisted living community with a 2018 Best of Assisted Living Award.

New Horizons is one of just 14 recipients – among 250 licensed Massachusetts communities – recognized with the prestigious award. It is based on 150,000 family reviews for 45,000 communities.

According to Eick, New Horizons’ popularity is due in part to several amenities that are unusual for retirement communities. The campus features a large indoor swimming pool, fitness center, hair salon, apothecary, and general store. In addition, the non-sectarian community offers regular religious services for Protestant and Jewish faiths, as well as daily Catholic Mass.

New Horizons also currently has a “rate freeze” for new residents, guaranteeing no increase for at least five years to the basic monthly fee. This fee includes all charges for lodging, meals, water, heat, air conditioning, cable TV, local telephone service, parking, and regular maintenance.
